MEET WILLIAM FRED WEEKS

William Fred Weeks was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, and graduated from Frostburg State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. He currently resides in Raleigh, North Carolina. Over the course of his career, he worked for a major automobile insurance company investigating claims before transferring to the Special Investigation Unit, where he handled cases involving suspected fraud, including arson, auto theft, staged accidents, and bodily injury claims. In 2018, the North Carolina Insurance Crime Information Exchange recognized him as Claims Investigator of the Year.

After retiring in 2021, William embraced his lifelong passion for writing and set out to bring his stories to life. He is also the author of two previous manuscripts, In the Twinkling of an Eye and Riders of the Red Horse, which remain unpublished. Like many first-time authors, he discovered that the road to publication can be filled with obstacles, and the rejection letters he received were often brief and discouraging. Yet rather than give up, William chose to move forward with faith in his work and in his dream. By deciding to self-publish, he turned disappointment into determination and proved that persistence can open doors when others remain closed. His journey stands as an inspiration to aspiring writers everywhere: keep writing, keep believing, and never give up on your dream of becoming a published author.
